FLASHER - DT (item #549)

Operate your grade crossing with ease. The FLASHER-DT (item #549) installs in minutes with it's unique current sense detection.

The FLASHER-DT features adjustable flash rates and delay off timing allowing the FLASHERDT to continue to operate well after the current has ceased to flow in the activation section (shown below)

The FLASHER-DT will handle more than one track at your intersection by simply creating another activation section and passing the other tracks sense wire through the sensor on the FLASHER-DT.  Since the FLASHER-DT has a very hefty output current capacity you can operate large light bulbs to small LED's with ease.  When operation gates using coils, simply connect them to the output as shown.  If you are using slow motion switch machines to operate your gates, simply add item #555 (relay board) to the gate output wired as a double pole double throw switch and you then have the polarity reversal required !  The FLASHER-DT circuit is completely solid state and operates with either AC or DC input power.  The FLASHER-DT circuit board measures 2" x 3".  The FLASHER-DT combines the variable flash rate features of the FLASHER with a current sensing detection circuit of the TRAKDT and includes an additional output that can be used to operate crossing gates.  It is necessary to isolate a section of rail and to pass the wire feed for this rail through the detection coil of the FLASHER-DT.  When current flow in this rail is sensed the FLASHER-DT will alternate the lamp outputs and activate the additional output.  An adjustment potentiometer provides a variable flash rate for the lamps.  A time adjustment is also provided so the FLASHER-DT can continue activation for up to 60 seconds after current ceases to flow.
