Need Help With PDF Files?

If you experience difficulty with downloading and reading PDF files, please verify the following:

  • You are using a non-beta version of your browser.
  • You have downloaded and installed the free Adobe Acrobat Reader version 3.0 or higher.

  • Your browser is configured to launch Adobe Acrobat Reader upon receipt of a PDF file.   When Acrobat reader is installed after your browser, it should automatically configure your browser, to double check the installation check these setup locations within your browser:

                  Microsoft Internet Explorer: View / Options / Programs / Files Types

                  Netscape Navigator: General / Preferences / Helpers

If you have verified the above and are still experiencing difficulties with the PDF file, please send us an e-mail and include:

  • a description of the problem
  • the operating system and version you are using (i.e., Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT Workstation, Mac OS 7.5)
  • the browser version you are using and it's release number (i.e., Netscape Navigator 3.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02)
  • the version of Adobe Acrobat Reader
