The STROBE / FRED can be powered by a 9 volt battery, fixed voltage (up to 20 volts) AC or DC, or by track power. The electronic circuitry produces a high intensity flash of an LED and is usable atop water tanks, towers, ambulances, fire trucks, locomotives, cabooses or as "end of train" devices. Our FRED is the brightest in the industry ­ we use an ultra bright RED LED not commonly found on such units. The STROBE has a T-1 (1/8") White LED.

The STROBE / FRED is furnished with double sided mounting tape and includes wire leads with a battery clip installed. The board size is 0.84" X 1.65". For other power sources simply cut the battery clip from the wires.
